Calcium Stearate
Non-toxic internal and external lubricant and co-stabilizer — lowers melt viscosity, resists colour degradation and qualifies for FDA-approved compounds.

Overview
Grade SCI-105-CS
Calcium stearate is the workhorse non-toxic metallic stearate. In PVC it acts as an internal and external lubricant that reduces inter-particle frictional heat, lowers effective melt viscosity, resists colour degradation and leaves a smooth surface finish. It is widely used in rigid pipe, fittings, conduit, wires and cables, footwear and leather cloth — including non-toxic FDA-approved compounds — and beyond PVC as a release and anti-caking agent in plastics, masterbatch, paints and construction chemicals.
Key Properties
- Non-toxic — suitable for FDA-approved compounds
- Internal + external lubricant and co-stabilizer
- Lowers melt viscosity; resists colour degradation
- Release & anti-caking agent across industries
